Install
Open the DMG and run the installer. It installs the app, the Clearroom Audio driver and the plugin together.

Start the trial
Open Clearroom and enter your email address. The 14-day trial starts immediately. No card required.

Use the full app for 14 days
Room capture, correction and the plugin, with nothing held back.
Room calibration needs a measurement mic. The guide covers the common ones.

Clearroom now includes an AAX plugin for Pro Tools. The installer puts it in Pro Tools’ plugin folder with the AU and VST3, and it appears in Pro Tools under EQ.

- A room capture that failed to upload on some Macs, with the message “There was an error parsing the body”, now goes through.
- Clearroom now checks clearroom.studio for a newer build when it starts and about once a day, and says so on the main screen. Settings has Check now and a switch to turn the automatic check off.
- The menu bar names the profile and shows an amber dot when the plugin in your DAW is on a different profile from the app.
- The Audition screen has the main screen’s Correction, Bypass Trim, Mono and Dim controls.

- Room capture now works with audio interfaces that have many outputs, such as a Universal Audio Apollo. On those interfaces the calibration noise, the speaker check and the measurement sweep did not play.
- If a test sound cannot play during the speaker check, the app now says why instead of staying silent.
